I just wanted to share with you the desert diorama that I spent hours working on tonight. I'm actually quite proud of how it turned out. I wonder if I'll get an A. I think I deserve an A even though I did put it together at the last minute. I really worked hard on it and of course I learned a lot about the Sonoran Desert (that's in Arizona in case you're wondering). I really wanted to do a good job. I'm
particularly proud of the backdrop. That was actually a collaboration between Jason and I. But I made sure the cacti stood up straight and tall, the rocks were glued down and wouldn't fall out and of course I did a lot of research on each animal to make sure it is authentic to this habitat. Yep, I feel really good. I can't wait until Ryan comes home tomorrow and tells me what grade I got.

You sound like me as my children get ready to turn in their science fair projects. Actually Eric did most of his by himself, but I had to help Erin quite a bit. I was thinking who's project is this anyway? Why does the school give assignments that require so much help from parents?
